The Folzenlogen Family
Our Story
Both of my parents came from St. Bernard, Ohio, a Cincinnati suburb. After their marriage and my arrival, we lived in a first-floor apartment in St. Bernard as well. Between first and second grade we bought a house in Golf Manor. My sister had joined the family, and both of us attended Our Mother of Sorrows grade school. I went to St. Xavier High School and my sister went to Regina. My father started out working for Procter and Gamble and then switched to Schenley.

After graduation from high school, I entered the Jesuits. I was ordained in 1971 and had a number of assignments in the Chicago area, Indianapolis, and the Cincinnati area. I am currently the director of the Claver Jesuit Ministry, and I live with the Jesuit Community at St. Xavier High school, , both in the Cincinnati area. My sister went to the University of Cincinnati and has worked as a med tech and as an office nurse. She married Frank, and they have three children and five grandchildren.
Our extended family is huge. We have over 80 first cousins. We have been able to trace our family history back to the late 1500s. We continue to discover more relatives as we continue our research.
